The greatest priority of CareFirst is the health and well-being of our clients and caregivers. As our community continues to feel the impact of the Coronavirus known as COVID-19, we all face unprecedented challenges. As a leading provider of home care services in Birmingham Alabama, we wanted to share with you how we are taking this virus very seriously and how we are committed to everyone’s safety. We recognize our team serves a vulnerable population, and we take that privilege very wholeheartedly. As we continue to provide our essential services, potential exposure will remain lowest for those who can stay in their homes, with limited outside contact. It is our desire to work with you and your family to maintain this possibility for your loved one.

As part of our standard operating procedures, CareFirst has increased communication with our caregivers and management so everyone is up to date on the most current local, state, and federal agencies for information. We are trained on ways to reduce the risk of illness as each and every one of us all have the responsibility to remain vigilant about good hand-washing. While we at CareFirst continue to actively monitor the recommendations and guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, as well as our local and federal government we also recommend our clients to do the same as the days and weeks progress.
